The Spring Summer 2012 collection contains rich cotton and silks fabrics that give the garments a perfect summer feel.
The style of Sober finds its inspiration in the deeply rooted Dutch Calvinistic culture. It translates into modest designs with an apparently simple, but perfect tailoring. Passion for crafts and eye for detail characterize the quality of each piece. Ample fabrics and inventive details turn the pieces into a mature and elegant product.
For the Spring Summer 2012 collection, Sober is inspired by the work of the American painter Rothko. Sober translates Rothko’s colours and shapes into silhouette, fit and colours of her garments. This collection is an unwritten world for Sober. Colour and cut play an apparent role.
Geometric lines flow into the subtleness from the past; the garments are designed to amplify the elegance of the female body. The balance between nature and technology is reached within each garment.
